Default How to hide clustered AFP volumes

I am trying to hide a clustered volume from being seen by Macs using AFP
to connect to my three node SLES/OES2 cluster while still keeping the
volume available to CIFS users. Is this possible?

Alternatively, when a Mac user mounts a virtual IP resource and the node
hosting that AFP resource has more than one volume mounted, I only want
them to have the one volume visible to them. Clear as mud?

Thanks much,
-Marc
