Issues with embedded Raid Controller HP ML110 and NOWSSBE
I purchased a Hp Proliant Ml110 G5 with an embedded sata raid controller, I looked for the storage driver on hp, found one for SLES10 sp1, I started installing presse "F5" included driver from hp, install goes as normal, didn't select any thing, rebooted and the boot does not see the raid. It tries to look for a drive, I configured the mirror 1 through the bios option of the embedded raid. I tried the installed several times and got the same error, I pretty much got fed up with the whole process and just decided to install without the raid. It looks like NOWSSBE does not support embedded raids, what a pain.. If NSS would work properly, I would of configured it that way. I would of never had these problems with Netware, there needs to be more testing and QC of the products... When you are accustomed to quality and extremely good products, you expect the same from all products..
