Default Change directory from Novell eDirectory to Active Directory

We currently use Netware 6 and have Securelogin 3.51.3.3 installed on
all the Client workstations. We do not use SecretStore.
We are replacing Netware with Microsoft Windows and Active Directory.

Is there a way to move SecureLogin from Netware NDS to Active
Directory without the users' losing their logins and passwords?

I am aware that Securelogin 6 SP1 is out and that the Client has a new
backup and restore in the Advanced menu which backs up all logins and
passwords to a password encrypted file which can then be restored.
But I have only tested this on a Standalone install of Securelogin
6.0.110.

Will this plan work:
1) Upgrade Securelogin 3.51 on my Netware Server to Securelogin 6
2) Upgrade all the Client workstation Securelogin to version 6 and
ask the users to backup their own logins/passwords
3) Install Securelogin 6 on my new Microsoft Windows Server
4) Make my Client workstations login to Active Directory
5) Reinstall the Securelogin on the Client workstations, this time
specifying to use Active Directory
6) Get users to restore the Securelogin 6 backup file they created in
(2) above

Any advice or pointers you can give me is appreciated.
Thank you.
