Strange TLAUNCH behavior
I'm seeing some intermittent strange behavior from TLAUNCH when launching an Attachmate Extra HLLAPI session to connect to back-end Unix box.
Generally everything works fine, with 99% of users having no trouble, however every now and again we will get a user who starts having problems.
The symptoms are that they have strange chacaters being typed in for the username and/or password.
For example, the user name is 'jsmith' but what actually gets typed in is '^[[4~jsmith' which looks like some sort of escape code. I've also seen '%^&*jsmith' which is keys '5678' but shiffted.
This only seems to affect TLAUNCH, and there are no indications of any keys stuck down. If the user tries a different workstation they see a similar issue.
We've tried clearing out the cache, and the user's SSO information and then setting it all up again from scratch. This didn't make any difference.
If we launch EXTRA without TLAUNCH, then we don't see any weird characters, so we're happy the EXTRA install is OK.
Can anyone think of anything that would cause TLAUNCH to insert these random sequences into the keyboard buffer ?
