Working with a 6.0 client installation and have upgraded edir to 8.8 sp5. mixed netware 6.5 and OES2 on sles environment.
Currently getting issues with clients losing passwords and userids from securelogin client.
Firstly I need some advice on how to debug this - problems get called into the helpdesk and because these are login issues - the helpdesk finds a quick fix to get users going.
I have noticed error messages just after netware client login saying unable to communicate with secretstore do you want to try again.
So my question would be - why is the client having issues getting to secretstore. the number of servers with r/w replicas has increased substantially and all the new sles/
oes boxes have ssncp in ndsmodules.conf so it should be loading.
can't seem to find the ssscfg command in /usr/sbin but I think that might be documentation running behind the application. - let me know if i am wrong on this.
Whilst I know the first suggestion will be to upgrade the client please let me say that I am getting the same communication issue with a test install of securelogin 7.0b
So any ideas on how to debug this?
