SMTP Proxy problems

Hello,

I set up SMTP Proxy to protect a Groupwise 6.0 server. As soon as I
enable transparent mode, I cannot send or receive emails and GWIA gives me
the following errors:
- 421 send failure
- 420 tcp read error
- detected error on SMTP, command: SMTP

I also get email returned (when send to mail server behind NSM) with
message that "relay not permitted"

If I turn Transparent Mode off, mail works, however I believe all mail is
bypassing the proxy because if I send an email with the eicar test file
attached, it makes it through w/o being rejected (which is the setting I
have set in SMTP proxy virus protection).
