IPS

I have completely disabled CHAT in IPS on my local network but I also
excluded certain ip addresses from being processed including mine. However,
I am in any yahoo chat client, after a few minutes I am disconnected. If I
open CHAT in IPS all is well. Why isn't my exclusion working?
