Default Securing Syslog Connector

Hi,

We are using the syslog connector to get syslogs from a solaris 10 server. By default, syslog would relay the messages to the syslog server using UDP. Is there a more secure way of transmitting the logs?

If yes, what would be the configurations required in the solaris 10 server?
