need to access windows

Ok here's the hole deal. I'm helping out a friend whos company went down
and their old IT person refuses to get back in touch with them.

My friend has a netware server, that boots up, goes to a windows 98 screen,
then a novell small business logo screen, then to the printer server screen

i can exit the printer gateway module, but what i want to do is access
windows 98, i am attempting just to log in and backup some key files that
my friend needs onto a usb storage device.

it dosen't sound that hard of a problem, but the issue is i don't know
anything about novell, and all my searches just leads to more confusing.

If anyone can help out that would be greatly appreciated.
