How to add corrupted disk as volume

How can I add a corrupted volume SYS from one server to another good server
NW4.12 as another volume? I use SCSI's with Adaptec 29160N adapter. The
good one is ID 1, the bad one ID 2, but when booting up it keeps on using
the bad one as master to boot on.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
