Default etchostname and etchosts

We have 2 SBS 6.6 servers (Sp5)

- One BM3.8/GW656 server with 1 public and 1 private ip address.
- One File/Print server with 2 private IP addresses

I was searching what information should be in the etchostname and etchosts
files, but I get more and more confused.

If there are 2 private ip adresses do they both have to be in the
etchostname file or only one? (if only one, which one?)
In case of one public and one private ip address, do I have to put only
the private ip address in etchostname ?

Same questions for the etchosts file.
Apart from our own Ip address information I now see things like:

# examples from Novell network
#
130.57.4.2 ta tahiti ta.novell.com loghost
130.57.6.40 osd-frog frog
130.57.6.144 sj-in5 in5
192.67.172.71 sj-in1 in1
#
# interesting addresses on the Internet
#
192.67.67.20 sri-nic.arpa nic.ddn.mil nic
26.2.0.74 wsmr-simtel20.army.mil simtel20

I doubt if I should leave these lines in place.

Can anyone help me out here?

Piet
