Hi--looking for some reassurances that I'm not going to completely kill our SBS 6.5 server when upgrading to SP8--which looks pretty major.
I chuckled reading another post about the horrid memory management in SP5 and I'm a bit hesitant to put on such a major service pack, if only because I'm so rusty!
Here's the output of the "version" command:

We don't do anything fancy with
OES (e.g., iFolder, etc). It's just a file server, which is also our e-mail system (one post office, one domain) running GroupWise 7/SP2 with GWAVA 4 (build 120).
We've got plenty of free disk space, esp on the SYS volume (at least 80GB free).
My plan is to back everything up (of course), and will re-read carefully the NW65Sp8 "CoolSolutions" Wiki article (
Nw65sp8 - CoolSolutionsWiki). It was already handy as it instructs me to grab the .ZIP file (NW65SP8.zip), to install it on an existing server.
Then follow the instructions, keep fingers crossed, and hope for the best!
Would like to know of any possible 'gotchas' there might be. I'm seeing nothing but positive things here in the forums about this service pack.
TIA! --michael
