ERROR NWSetDirSpaceLimit: 899C

Just installed SLES 10SP1 and OES2 with all updates as of today (excluding SLES 10SP2 of course) and configured NSS volumes. Volumes work fine but when I configured a test policy in NSM and add users to the OU I get

E372 Begin SetPolicy: <USER AND CONTEXT>
DirRestriction: ERROR NWSetDirSpaceLimit: 899C

Status of each user in the Pending Events windows is Setting the quota.

Folders have been created in the target path, but the Home directory attribute in the eDir user object reads

Volume: FILESVR_SYS.OU.O
Path: FACTORY\PROXYHOM
Maybe this is something it does in the background while it is provisioning the storage, not sure but I thought it was worth mentioning. I know there is no Linux agent support, but everything I read tells me that I can provision storage on a Linux NSS volume. Is there something I don't know that I should?
