Default NSMAdmin.exe - Attempt to communicate with the NSM engine failed

Hi,

I recently restarted my NSM server, and I can verify that the NSM Engine
is running, given by the NSM Engine screen on the server. The Event Queue
Size is increasing as the event queue rebuilds itself, which I understand
is a normal reaction when the NSM server is restarted. As far as my
meager understanding goes, this server is running correctly.

However, when I attempt to connect from my workstation over the NSMAdmin
application, I get the response: "Attempt to communicate with the NSM
engine failed"

I have scanned the server for open ports, and I am able to telnet over
port 8009, which I understand is the default for the NSMAdmin application.

Will the connection be available after the NSM Engine rebuilds the event
queue? What should I check on the server side to verify availability for
NSMAdmin?

Thanks for your time,

Paul
