When the event is stuck in the queue, if it is of the status "waiting for paths to become available" you can select the bypass option and then it will go ahead and use the existing directory. We will add your request to make this a policy option (basically to always bypass) as a feature request. We do have plans to add notifications to the product, but don't know exactly when that will get in.

as a k12 school, we have students return to us after a period at another school or a failed run at 'home-school'. we keep their homes. and delete their account. when they return NSM engine hangs because it can't create the directory. this is all fine and understandable, problem is ..... we only know if we look at the engine screen or a teacher complains.....

q. is there a notification config i haven't found?
q. could we not add a choice to policy like 'use existing folder?'
