Default SLED11 Novell Login at Startup

We are now trying to implement a lab of SLED11 workstations. I have a clustered NetWare environment with 2 standalone OES2 servers that do not have a replica of the tree. I also do not have LUM enabled. What do I need to do to allow users to get the Novell login prompt when they boot up the SLED11 Linux desktop? I've read things about CASA and LUM and I'm just not sure exactly what I need to do to make this work. I would like the students to be able to login at the novell client (just as they do on windows) and have it log them into the network and map all of their drives.

Currently, I'm having to login to the desktop and then login to the Novell client and having to specifiy the context manually after the desktop is loaded to map all my network drivers.
