windows emulators for sled 11

I'm not sure if this is an issue with wine or anyother emulator. Please correct me if i'm wrong but if wine is installed on your linux system you should be able to install a Windows running program (obvoiusly not every program will install but there is a possibility). I have installed MS Office 2003 using wine and it works.
The application that I need to run is not and will not be installed on my pc, it is on the servers, I merely run the .exe file to access to app. I tried using Wine for this but I get the error above about bot being installed or missing.
Is there a way, using Wine or not, to run the .exe file from the servers to access the app?

I have posted my question in WineHQ forums but have no answer yet.
