Help installing/using Robotics 5686E modem
I am trying to get an external modem (dial-up) working. I have it connected through the serial port, and some of the red LEDs flash occassionally, so it seems to be physically connected.
I have a HP dc5850 SFF computer with SLED 10.2 sp2. I know almost nothing about Linux, but I'm not afraid to learn. How do I get the OS to work with this modem?
BTW Is SUSE associated with UBUNTU? I have a book on UBUNTU;would it help me learn SUSE? If not, how should I get started learning SUSE?
