Re: Chicony built-in Webcam on Toshiba Sattelite AMD crashing Cheese SLED 11
Further to this:
I re-installed Windows and SLED on this machine. The chicony webcam
still refuses to work. However, this time, I also had a new logitech
webcam connected. Once I started Cheese, I chose the Logitech webcam
and all there seems to be working fine. Further, I installed Skype
static version which also picks up the Logitech with no difficulties.
So, at this point, I'm thinking this is a Chicony specific problem, or
the implementation on the Toshiba implementation.

Paul
