Problem with nvidia drivers
Sled has been installed with compiz-fusion automatically on my nvidia card. This is working well the first 15-20 minutes but after that time most of the application windows are opening black (like an overlay bug). I have to resize the windows to reduce it to be able to see its content. After 1:00 genrally I have to restart X server to be able to see anything as resizing workaround do not work anymore (the required size to see anything is smaller and smaller)
I installed compiz-switch to unactivate compiz when the problem starts to apear. I can understand that my video card is not well supported or that nvidia drivers have a bug and that novell can't do anything to me.
But, I start to be desapointed regarding the lake of packages available on SLED and some tools like compiz switch would be welcome as compiz-fusion bug / hardware problems are a really usual experience for all the users.
Since I switch from OpenSuse to SLED I'm near to have to compile my package myself to make my system working which was never the case with the free version OSL.
By the way ... do you know any compiz setting which could help fixing this problem ?
