SLED 11 on Dell Latitude D530

Hi all,

I'm having a problem with temperature - when running SLED11 x86_64 on my Latitude D530 laptop, it won't turn on the fan. The hard disk gets really hot and the system locks up with continuous hard disk access. It isn't hardware as I ran dell diagnostics and it passes. The fan works when using Windows XP.

It worked fine on SLED10 sp2.

Can anyone help????
