Installation DVD boot problem (SLED 11)
Hello! I searched in this forum and googled for my problem, but I couldn't find a solution. The problem is that I can't boot from the installation DVD of SLED 11. I downloaded it from Novell's site and burnt it on a DVD. I installed it on a virtual machine (VMware 6.5) to test it and there was no problem. But when I wanted to install it on one PC it couldn't boot from the installation DVD. After 3 burnt DVDs and several machines which I tried, I couldn't boot on two of them. These machines boot from any other bootable DVD or CD, but when I insert the SLED 11 installation DVD the "Boot from CD/DVD" is skipped like there is no bootable disk. Maybe it's something about the chipsets or... I don't know... Any suggestions?
