Default Re: Installation pb on brand new MSI Nettop running SUSE 10.

I don't know the answer to your problem, but I do find your post puzzling.

Firstly: You say 'SUSE 10.1'. There is a Linux distribution called openSUSE 10.1 and there is distro called SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 for which several service packs have been released, the first being Service Pack 1. Which, if either, of those do you have? (If you have openSUSE 10.1 then you're in the wrong forum.)

Secondly: You refer to your MSI nettop as being brand new. openSUSE 10.1 has been superseded by 10.2, 10.3, 11.0 and 11.1. SLED 10 Service Pack 1 has been superseded by Service Pack 2 and Service Pack 3. I.e. both of the products I think you could be referring to when you say 'SUSE 10.1' are already end of life and as such I find it hard to believe that a brand new machine would ship with either of them.

Your chances of getting a helpful answer may be increased if you provide the model number of your nettop.
