Default /etc/resolv.conf

I am having an interesting issue... It seems that whenever I reboot
my /etc/resolv.conf get deleted/wiped and I get a blank one on the reboot.
I have to go to DNS and Hostname and re-enter the information manually and
the /etc/resolv.conf gets recreated.

This is obviously not a desired behavior for me. I would like to have
the /etc/resolv.conf file be retained. I must have set up something at
installation/configuration time...but darn if I can recall what I did. Does
anyone know how to modify this behavior so the resolv.conf file sticks
around?
