Charset for Novell Client

I use Novell Client 2.0 on Suse Desktop Sled 10.0 Can I change default charset from UTF-8 to IBM-866(CP866)? It's need for send masseges from linux to win computers. I can change charset for recive message, but i can't change it for transmission.
