WPA2 Enterprise & SLED 11

Hi,

I just installed SLED 11 into my lab PC and found that it is suffering similar problems with WPA2 Enterprise as Ubuntu 8.xx. Common nominator with both OS' is that they are using kernel version 2.6.27.

I tested with kernel 2.6.28.xx and it is working perfectly well.

My question is that is there any plans to get officially 2.6.28 kernel into SLED 11 or backport fixes from that kernel into 2.6.27?

If I compile 2.6.28 kernel into SLED 11, is there any dependencies which may cause problems using that kernel??
