Network problem
I have installed SLED11 on the HP workstation, during the installation I used the default setting for the network card and it did work and I was able to sever the net till I decided to give it a static IP address and I assigned static IP address but still it will have IP address 192.168.20.139 from DHCP and if I go check what IP address I have it wont have the IP address that I assigned statically, I rebooted 10 times and I went back to DHCP and it will get the same IP address 20.139, no matter if I assigneed static or DHCP IP address I cant server the internet, I am able to ping the DNS or default getaway successfully and I tried different Browser still I cant server the internet.
Then I went for Bridging and I used first DHCP and it will get the same IP address as above and then I cant server the net, even if I assignee static ip address it wont show the static IP address and it still shows 192.168.20.139, no matter what I will do I wont be able to server the net, I reboot 10 times.
This look like a bug, any suggestion will be great, thanks
