Default SLED11 New kernel (2.6.27.37-0.1.1) crashing on screen lock

The title says it all. This morning I installed the following (from /var/log/zypp/history):
# 2009-11-02 11:09:01 kernel-source-2.6.27.37-0.1.1.i586.rpm installed ok
# 2009-11-02 11:09:32 kernel-pae-base-2.6.27.37-0.1.1.i586.rpm installed ok
# 2009-11-02 11:10:01 kernel-pae-2.6.27.37-0.1.1.i586.rpm installed ok
# 2009-11-02 11:10:12 kernel-pae-extra-2.6.27.37-0.1.1.i586.rpm installed ok

Since then, if I lock my screen in gnome, X seems to die and I'm left looking at the boot status screen, with everything completely frozen. Has anyone else found anything similar?
