SuSE11 Sudo problem with LDAP group

We have everything on LDAP (regular users & sudo config) with sudo 1.6.9 and everything works as expected. Only the generic users (used to run applications) are local.

Check your nsswitch configuration, the order matters (is/will not be a concern with sudo 1.7 apparently).
