"Conversation Error" at login screen -- SLES 11
I have recently loaded two servers running SLES 11 although different packages are loaded on each machine. Both after a period of time of sitting at the graphic console login will pop up a dialog box w/ a red triangle w/ exclamation point icon and only the text "Conversation error". That is the only text so there is no indication of what is kicking off the dialog.
The first machine has been loaded w/ SLES 11 for sometime now w/o that error appearing. Yesterday, with the load of the 2nd machine, I loaded all new updates from the online download and the error started appearing.
The dialog appears 5-10 minutes after a reboot. Clicking OK, the dialog goes away but will re-appear sometime later.
Does anyone have an idea what is going on?
