Default Re: XEN, Pacmaker live migration pingd issue

Hi Claude,

Thank you for your help. I had seen your configuration on another site. I did configure resources as specified in your setup. I resolved issues of when placing a node in standby or stopping its openais service, the VM live migrated to the other node ok. But, when I put the offline node back online, the VM restarted on the node it was running on.

However, I still cannot get the VM to live migrate using Pingd.

My configuration uses one clone to make drbd primary on both nodes and an order constraint to make sure this clone is active before the VM resource starts. Seems to work ok except for this Pingd issue. I do not use the drbd partitions for file storage - I give the whole partition to the VM. Hence there is no need for ocfs2 and mount resources to be configured - a very simple approach.

John
