Hello everyone,
Im testing the functionality of SLES 10 SP2 to deploy on several machines, and I need to use the
GeForce 5200 as a video card, but I had no luck on installing the drivers.
The installation rebooted in the middle because the video was not supported, so I completed the installation on a reduced mode. After completing,
I could not start X Server and use GNOME or any similar. I followed this
guide to install the
updated nvidia drivers, but when I try to configure Sax2 I keep getting the error that the
X Server is disabled.
When I try to enable it, the errors that appeared are
related to the onboard video adapter... is that normal? even if I configure and install the drivers correctly? I also tried installing the driver downloading the files and complete the
XFree86 configuration manually, but did not work also.
Can anyone help me with that?
