In short, would Linux see and handle the SAN storage but 'present' that storage to Netware for Cluster Services?

If not, maybe I could install Suse cluster services and be on Linux exclusively, but the business unit would be jittery about cold-turkey going to an entirely different configuration of Cluster Services. Netware is familiar in operation and would be a sell-able step to a Cluster Services migration.

Thanks for you help!

Dave,

this question is not related to NPIV at all, so you'd be much better off starting a new thread for new subject. Maybe this is one of the reasons that you have not received any reply so far.

Regarding Xen handling of FC devices: As far as I have experienced (SLES10SP2) and read (SLES11), Xen will use the FC access to create a Dom0 block device, which in turn is accessed by the DomU (in your case Netware). So yes, option 1 seems a valid way to go.

I have zero Netware experience, so YMMV.

Regards,
Jens
