Default HP BL460c G6 and SLES 10 SP3

Hi,

I just installed SLES 10 SP3 on a HP BL460c G6 blade. It looked like everything was detected. After entering the activation code I ran the automatic update. No patches.
I have had problems with detecting the HP NC-Series Broadcom 1GbE & 10GbE hardware but SP3 recognised the NIC.

After the install I stress tested the NIC.
It failed resulting in massive entries in /var/log/warn

I located the bnx2x in the kernel "Provides" section.
/lib/modules/2.6.16.60-0.54.5-smp/kernel/drivers/net/bnx2x.ko

I re-booted the server and repeated the process. Another "panic_dump" happened.

I'm going to install the NIC driver from HP {netxtreme2-5.0.17-1.src.rpm} and see if that resolves the "panic_dump"

Paul
