SLES10 SP2 boot fails after update (and w/o update on XEN)

Hi all.

I just did a fresh SLES10 SP2 install on a HP-BL360 blade and right after the install, I reboot
into the XEN kernel.
At first it hangs on microcode service, I reboot into the normal SMP kernel and disable that service.
Then on boot #2 with the XEN kernel it hangs on the openssh service.

After registering with Customer Center, a single update was found for the kernel.

I apply that, and reboot.

Now the SMP kernel is frozen on the services startup also!


What can I do to fix this?!
