DVD automount not working in SLES10 SP2

Fresh install onto a X86 machine; all appears good. Novell license
registration went well and updates installed.

Machine rebooted.

CD/DVD's will not automount. I can command line mount them: mount -t
iso9660 /dev/hda on /media -o <options>

and unmount them: umount /media

Where do I look and what do I do to solve this problem?
