Login help with SLES 10 SP2
on a new gig at a small co and i have no Linux training whatsoever...minimal knowledge of unix commands from years ago.
boss wanted me to build a box with SLES 10 for a proprietary system. I installed SLES and was able to navigate the GUI interface for the OS. I had added a root and just a regular user account. I restarted the server according to the instructions for our system and now i am not sure how to get back into the gui interface. After the server boots up I get a "Welcome to SUSE Linux..." then the "name of the box login:" but not as a GUI. I've logged in as the root and the user but not sure where to go from there to get back to the GUI interface for the OS.
Is there something I need to enter in the command line after logging in or is there a way to bypass logging in here and go to the GUI?
thanks for any help or direction
