Questions about changing from NW to SLES

Just to throw a monkey wrench into the mix here, this may be a good time to consider alternatives to Linux--yes, I'm talking Windows here. eDirectory runs under Windows if you want to stay with your current tree.

If I were in your situation, I'd dispassionately research both Linux and Windows and go with that which I feel would best serve my users and be easiest to maintain by myself and others in the future.

I'm in no way advocating either solution. But, as the network administrator, it's incumbent upon you to be open-minded and look at all alternatives.
