Default Re: Repair reporting error in /boot/grub/device.map

Luckily i've been able to side step the entire complication with the changing of a setting on the SRCSAS144E RAID Controller.

The setting is called "Adapter BIOS" and it has been set to "Disabled." What this setting does is disable the handling of the virtual drives by the BIOS. Thus when grub tries to boot, the BIOS doesn't even know about those drives, and therefore it's just as if they weren't there like when I was booting it before without any arrays.
