Default Changing install sources

We originally installed the server via NFS share. But our regional servers have such bad WAN links that to continue to point them to the 2-3 GB of files across a bad T1 just makes the entire system unusable.

Is there a proper procedure for how to change the install source to local .ISO files instead of using the nfs share?

(they're the exact same files used from our install server)

I can mount the .ISO and extract if necessary and point to that as well.

Is it as "easy" and safe to use Yast to do that?
