Will this work if there is no DHCP at that site as this will be the DHCP server?
The solution will need to cover:
1) Install new server (preferably without CD/DVD and later automated)
2) Upgrade service packs (SP2 to SP3 needs offline upgrade)
3) Repair/rebuild server if needed
Also I've read about some people copying the SLES .iso source files to the local file system and adding it to the boot menu for SP upgrades. How do you set this up and would you recommend it?
Unfortunately the only control I have over these servers is DRAC/iLO access. If needed we can get a user on site to insert media but that will require shipping CD's to all sites for every new SP.
