SLP configuration
Please forgive me if I have posted in the wrong area. We are transitioning from Netware 6.5 to Suse 10.2 so I have set up a test server to get acquainted with the new OS. I installed Suse and can log into iManager. But when I try to log into ConsoleOne, I keep getting authentication errors. I can't ping my co-workers test server either nor connect to it. I have tried to read everything I could before posting but am at a lost. I believe my problem is SLP but I'm not familiar with SLP. Can someone direct me to any articles that would familiarize me with what SLP is, what is does and how to configure it? I have followed the instructions on all the TIDs I have found and am still having issues connecting. I have used YaST to configure DNS, LDAP and SLP but am failing somewhere. I would appreciate any assistance.
