Default DDNS Not Working When Using LDAP Config

I have a working SLES10sp2 setup that's almost perfect. There are just a couple of nagging issues left.

One of these issues is the fact that Dynamic DNS does not appear to function when the DNS server is configured through LDAP. If I disable LDAP configuration, then Dynamic DNS works fine. Once I enable LDAP configuration again, it doesn't work anymore. I can go back and forth over and over again and I always get the same results. I tried updating the DNS using nsupdate, and that worked fine (even when LDAP config was enabled). But the DHCP server just isn't doing it.

The TSIG key is confirmed working fine (otherwise it wouldn't work at all when LDAP config is off).
