Interesting PING But how to SOLVE IT?

I have a SLES 10sp2 running with 4 bonded NICs for local LAN and 1 NIC for internet. This SLES Box acts as a PDC and Proxy server.

Now, from any client in the domain if i ping any machine using netbios or address i get reply.

but if i ping any address, say google.com, the address get is resolved but no reply from the resolved ip address..

But if i do the same from SLES box, i get reply back without any problems...

However, having said this, I have no other problems in Client PCs regd. internet browsing/ downloading or Share drives/ intranet etc.

I have an assumption that the ping goes to SLES and the reply comes back to SLES as well, for some reason the reply from SLES is not forwarded to Client PCs.. any reasons why? could it be becos of bonding? or proxy? or some other firewall settings? I actually tried switching off the firewall
