Default Re: NCP: Mount lost

Bernd,

the ncpfs package (containing the ncpmount) is a very old one and was reported a few times having problems on different things.

Are your systems pure SLES 10 SP2 or do they have OES components installed ?
We run a couple of developer installations (pure SLES 10 SP2) running the Novell Client for Linux. It is officially supported only on SLED 10 SP2, but it works without any problems.

NOVELL: Downloads - Novell Client 2.0 SP1 for SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 SP2 eMedia Kit

What is the reason that you have filesystems from the Netware box mounted on the linux box ?

Rainer
