Unable to create installation source - yast

I recently created a local patch server using yup for our non-internet SLES boxes. On each SLES box I created a new https installation source. The setup worked very well initially, but now is failing. I've confirmed connectivity to the https servers published volume with wget.
Everytime I go into the installation sources through yast I'm prompted with "Unable to create installation source..." Any clue??
