Hi,
I'm new in SuSe. We have a SuSe Linux Enterprise Server 10 installed in a DELL Dual Core AMD Opteron 1210 - 64 bits (x86_64)
I tried to update to SuSe Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP2 without success:
1) Using rug (our preferred way)
Where can I found service address to add on rug (rug service-add)?
We made the activation process and created an account, but didn't find a list of available services to include on rug.
We tried add ftp.gwdg.de (OpenSuse system) for test purposes only – it works.
We tried to include Novell (
https://nu.novell.com) but without success.
Trying to install a small package – nano editor – we received an error message:
error: dependency failure
resolvable id 169922 does not exist (I'm not sure about this number - like that)
centhaurus:~ # rug service-list

2) We tried to install SP1 and SP2 patches using YAST Online Update, but it says: no patches available!
What I did wrong?
If we access Novell site using the activation account, we receive a patch list. We are downloading it now. Can we to update directly from SLES 10 to SLES 10 SP2?
Thanks in advance,
Josi
