ncc-sync problems

I believe I have successfully setup SMT on a test server. Verifying that the server can properly contact the nu.novell.com site.

But when I run the smt-ncc-sync command I get an error:

Downloading Product information
Failed to POST 'https://secure-www.novell.com/center/regsvc-1.0/?command=regdata&lang=en-US&version=1.0': 401 Improper authentication credentials were supplied.
Error while fetching Products data.

I am guessing hte username/password I supplied when settin gup the service are incorrect, but the "TEST" button says they work (if I change the credentials the test fails!)

What am I missing here!

I am behind a proxy server. But I have specified all the proxy information in the /etc/smt.conf file.
