I'm able to mount the nfs v4 mount in SLES10SP2 without issue either. I really need to use nfs v4 due to our mirror mount home directory structure.
The file-server is opensolaris if that helps at all.
Thanks

I've narrowed this issue down to the latest SLES11 kernel. Running 2.6.27.29-0.1-default #1 SMP introduced this problem. If I role the kernel back to 2.6.27.19-5-default #1 SMP the problem goes away. This definitely looks like an issue introduced with the newer kernel revision.
