you can try to find those packages at the opensuse build server where they might exist precompiled for sles 9.

But I guess once you found and downloaded them, they will bring another bunch of dependency problems. As a result you would need to update a lot of different packages that it might be a much better idea to change to SLES 10 or SLES 11 where those or even higher versions are already part of.
I just took as a sample the libcrypt.so.7 ... it seems the glibc package provides that. And there are so many other packages depending on the current glibc version that just that dependency might need to update another maybe 50 packages.
Is a SLES update no option for you ?
